The Law Firm TOTUM acted as an adviser and defended the interests of the client - the Group of Companies “Autoland”, providing car-care services, in disputes with the State Tax Inspectorate in Desnyanskiy district of Kyiv and the Administration of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Desnyanskiy district of Kyiv concerning the cancellation of tax notices-decisions, demands on payment of debts and the penalties imposed as a result of the inspections.

In order to protect the interests of the client, the Law Firm initiated a number of court cases in the District Administrative Court of Kyiv, which supported the position of the Law Firm and recognized the findings set out in the audit reports, to be based solely on assumptions and, consequently, satisfied the claims and canceled the decision of the tax inspection and the pension fund, which supplemented the personal income tax, insurance premiums and fines for a total amount of UAH 1.4 million.

Consequently, the decision of the first instance court was upheld by the Kyiv Administrative Appellate Court and the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine.
